Aldi Mum turns Praise into Profit

Sam Jockel started a Facebook page Aldi Mum in 2010 because she liked the store and thought other mums would be interested in views on the products that are not branded, hence risky to buy. She quickly gained 5,000 members and after 6 months and cleverly decided to monetise the operation. Now Aldi pays for reviews of their products through her site-reported in the AFR.
