Aerial selfy camera

proxy-2

The new Hover Camera Passport is a drone built specifically for taking selfies and follow footage. It folds up so is portable- it’s built to fit inside a backpack or purse, so is always with you, whenever you need it. It shoots video and stills and has a built-in flash. It also has image recognition software, which allows it to not only sense/track faces and bodies, but also maintain its position in space without the aid of GPS. http://www.digitaltrends.com/drone-reviews/hover-camera-passport-review/

A Passion Project

Idea Spies Passion Project7812812_orig (1)

A Passion Project used to be a term reserved for kids at school. The new digital economy is making it relevant to adults. It’s a project you’re passionate about that you can pursue without quitting your job or education. Examples include learning to play the guitar, writing a book or developing a new digital service. Your passion project may even be the launch pad of the next big company that will help make the world a better place. https://www.ted.com/talks/steven_johnson_how_play_leads_to_great_inventions/transcript?language=en

Giving children a voice in the family

We know that if children grow up in a healthy emotional environment they are less prone to experiencing mental health issues as teenagers, are more able to cope with challenging life situations and are more likely to have rich, productive and professional lives as adults. Preparing children emotionally for the world is as important as teaching them to read and write. Uplifting Australia is a not for profit with a mission to improve the emotional wellbeing and resilience of children and families across Australia. We work with Schools, Corporates and other community bodies with programs that give children between the ages of 6-12 a voice in the family. Our Family Reflection Circles are renowned for creating and embedding an inclusive culture within a family environment. We do this by connecting, empowering and inspiring children to talk and listen in a meaningful way as part of the family during the challenging and often lost years of their lives leading them to become more confident and balanced teenagers and adults. www.upliftingaustralia.org.au
