It is time we talked about miscarriage
"Every year miscarriage affects up to 150,000 Australians and the people that love them. So why are we so damned bad at dealing with it?" asks Isabelle Oderberg, seasoned journalist and author of Hard to Bear: Investigating the science and silence of miscarriage. Combining in-depth investigation with lived experience, Hard to Bear charts a course to improve the system and change the lives of anyone directly or indirectly touched by early pregnancy loss, with practical and generous advice and suggestions along the way. I've bought my copy, and I encourage you to get yours: https://www.hardtobear.com

How to build an Australian People's Constitution
This new book, “The People’s Constitution”, contains the latest research about the values and aspirations of Australians and their need to enshrine those values along with their voices and human rights in a new Australian Constitution if they wish to take a rightful share of power in their own governance – a share sufficient to help them build the future of wellbeing and security that they need and deserve. As Australia walks on to an Indigenous Voice in the Constitution and then walks towards a decision one way or another about a republic, we will need this new people’s constitution.

Goal setting advice from a gold medallist
If I’m going to take advice from anyone, it’s going to be from gold medallist and inclusion advocate, Matt Levy (OAM). I originally purchased his book for my daughter but have found it useful for my own future planning! The framework is constructive, illustrations engaging, and the tone supportive. While the book is promoted as a children’s book, Matt’s innovative approach can really be for anyone who has a dream. Matt summed it up when I asked about the purpose of Brandon Dreams Big: "It gives practical tips to overcome obstacles and challenges. We all need this." https://mattlevy.com.au/books
